Depends on where and also depends on if the colder day is one day after a front and warmer day is 2nd day after.

I seldom pass on a day that I have time to fish. So many times I’ve gone when all the info says that nothing is going to happen and I find fish. They gotta eat sometime and while the window when they turn on may not be long, it’s great when you’re there and everyone else is watching TV. How many times have you heard “ya shoulda bin heah yestiddy “.

45 with 5-8 mph breeze would be like a day on the beach.

I don’t fish tourney just table fare and enjoyment. I typically won’t go out over 15mph. Just not as much fun for me personally or controlling the boat. Even with ulterra. Over 15, I stay home and take care of honey-do’s
    Fish will bite either one.

Less wind is always better, but you gotta go when you get the chance.

15 to 20 with gust to 30 is a no go on big water. When I go I want to enjoy myself whether I load the boat or not. I would not enjoy fishing in that. Both temps are ok.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

I'd fish them both given the chance.
Windier days I'd try to get out of the wind. But you still have to fish where the fish are.
