Mr. Pride can truly “kiss an angel good morning” now......and I’m not being insensitive. He was a great singer and had a fun personality. I always liked “Is anybody going to San Antone?” Now about the COVID.....the gentleman was over 80 years old.

A retired teacher (of 44 years) friend of mine found out she had cancer around Halloween or so. She passed away last week and they’re calling it COVID related. That’s all I’ll say about it.

Thanks for the music, Mr. Pride, and I feel sad for your family and friends. And I feel sad for the family and friends of my friend, Mary, who touched so many lives in our area. She was a wonderful Trig teacher for many many years.

sorry don't believe anything reported on this covid nonsense. have several hospital administrator friends from my business days and they all say same thing, they are marking everyone has virus as they get huge reimbursements and no one questions them. With loss of revenue from all their normal elective procedures and businesses if you die in a car crash you had covid too. Just the way of the world and you can't blame them but you can't get too excited about this. Death rate is still below what is normal for this time of year.

RIP Charlie Pride. Yes he had many great songs, and enjoyed everyone of them.

When I saw the post yesterday, did a search, and at that time there wasn't anything to confirm his passing. But today, there are many news sources covering it.
