I've heard about 3lb fish since I moved to East Texas in 82. Never seen one , but I know they are out there.

I have topped out at 2.78. Close but no cigar.

the big lakes over there actually produce 3 lb fish to be sure , but to be also sure i know a fair number of good crappie anglers that even hitting those lakes all the time ,still dont ketch them very often .
ghost fish for sure , the good news is a 2.78 KABOOM ....thats a dandy fish anywhere
