    Default Garmin stryker

i have a new Garmin stryker i purchased early in the spring, it was only 100 dollars, not sure if this unit gives me details i am looking for when fishing crappies. i see alot of other units on youtube videos that are not livescope units and seem to give more details that the Garmin, but if i would want to upgrade to a unit that will give me a much better detailed view, where do i start, any units that are preferred and popular.

I use a striker 4,and it does most of what I need. The screen is bright and shows things in the water well. I can see my jig easily if it is in the cone, and if I lose a fish near the boat, you can watch it going back down.

Give Brian at bbgmarine a call or pm. I’m sure he can find something that would work excellent for price range your looking to spend.

Tune that sucker up properly and learn to use it. It is fine. Save that coin for rods and tackle. Save some more coin then upgrade.

You should invest in side imaging in your next unit. That is the single most important function of a sonar for me.

Agree on calling BBG Marine. Amazon typically is NOT the best deal on fishfinders. There is no better bargain than the garmin 93 sv UHD for $599. Hope some place can help you find one without sales tax and shipping.
