What he said.....Retire....
Do the math....draw your retirement and social security...enjoy the rest of your life...you deserve it....
Or work until you die or get too old to do anything you enjoy.
Just my opinion.

If you have the opportunity, retire.
Your health can be shattered overnite, and you will be wishing for that time back. We all have less time ahead of us than behind us.

Be prepaired working days you might experience a culture shock. Night crew and day crew tend to have different personality.
I am thankful for all the responses and I thank you all so much.
I will likely make the shift change.
I am good at what I do( running a Television master control).
You folks all help me with my decision.
I am grateful.

Alan, I'm going to jump in here a little late. My choice would be to retire, you will have more things to fill your day than you ever thought possible. As we get older, it takes more time to finish jobs. If that is not an option. I would take vacation time and make my self adhere to the new routine even to the point of getting up and driving to work each day. It will help your internal clock reset and make it easier when you start the new hours. It will also let you see traffic patterns and let you find alternate routes. I wish you well with the change.
