Default Slab sauce vs. G sauce

I've used the original Slab sauce and believe it truly makes a difference. Has anyone done a comparison between the original and the G sauce? Is one any more effective than the other? Thanks, Todd

I keep and use both. I usually let the fish decide. Not sure how to test, some days they prefer the garlic and others the regular. Both work good. Prefer the eye dropper bottle.

Can’t possibly imagine why one would be better than the other. They’re both cover scents. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've had better luck with original Slabsauce than the garlic. Two lakes I fished didn't have a difference in bites between scents. There is one lake I frequent that has a lot of black crappie and they didn't like the garlic. In fact when I threw the garlic scented bait in to the school I got no bites. Couldn't figure out why until I paddled over the spot and the school was gone. I found the school about 10 feet away, tossed in the original scent and pulled up one after another... I had over 200 catches out of this school that day. I threw in the garlic, no bites, the school moved again. Back in with the original and pulled them up, back in with the garlic and they were gone. So I can attest the original works great but the garlic is iffy - for me at least. After that day the original became my go-to and if I am not getting bites I'll try the garlic to see what happens.

While both are cover scents one day they like garlic another day they don't like garlic. This area they like garlic, but then the bite dies off you move to another area and they don't like garlic. It's all in the way the fish want it.

the straight slab sauce makes big black bass lose their fish brains and smash crappie jigs with gusto , this much i know to be fact .
the g sauce seems to be a bit better for me on crappie , but as stated some days not as much as others ? go figure
crappie are some finicky just so so fish and what is good today might not be tomorrow .
a few of my trips garlic enhanced scents were worth big dollars and yet other times a bare jig got more bites .
not sure why the variance but to be sure it is common and on the same lake a day later in the same spot and conditions ?
probably just have to get and use a bottle of each and let the fish decide for ya is my thoughts
