Diet has a lot to do with gout. Avoid alcohol in excess, drinking coffee helps reduce Uric Acid, drink water, OTC pain relievers can help, eating cherries can help. Is your pain constant or very bad when you first wake up?
I need a remedy please.....my feet are killing me,,,

Prescription Colchicine for immediate relief.
Allopurinol for long term maintenance.
Back off the red meat and spirit alcohol. Chicken & fish is your new best friend.
Take ibuprofen ...4 every 4 if your liver and stomach can handle it till you get the Colchicine and stay away from sharp objects. Don't want a cut taking that much ibuprofen.
Sleep tonight with your feet out from under the covers cause even the weight of the sheets will hurt.
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor but I play one on TV. And I have gout. I used to keep my putter beside the bed to use as a cane. Grip end goes down. Alipurinol is a life changer.
Hope this helps.

I use to take Indomethacin at the first signs of a flareup. It always knocked it out after a day or two.
I've been eating the Keto diet for 19 months and haven't had a flareup one time.
My gout was triggered by carby foods. Mainly pinto beans. Maybe that's why the Keto diet knocked mine out.

Old enough to know better and way too old to care!
My wife goes to CVS and buys the pure 100% cherry juice. She has had bad gout spells but not since she’s been drinking 8 oz per day. She also has to be careful of pork. As much as she loves ribs and bbq, she’s careful.

Cherries.
catchNgrease has it right. Colcrys (colchicine) ....take 2 then 1 every 2 hours til you get the squirts. Takes about 7 but Relief about an hour after the first 2. Allopurinol daily keeps it away.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Got on ALLOPURINOL 100 MG 20 yrs. ago have not had it since . Used to have it 3-4 times a year . Would go to bed fine and wake up full blown . Indocin was what they gave me to treat after it got hot and hurting . Black cherry juice will help i you drink daily . Nothing beats the little pill though .
