Hateful pain mostly when I first wake up out of bed,,heels, toes and knees mainly,,,I’ll continue to maintain apple cider vinegar mixed the water and baking soda...but have tumerin extract and veggie juices instead of lemonaids

I work with an old pharmacist that suffers from gout attacks. Black Cherry Extract is his go-to when he has the occasional flare. He’s on the standard allopurinol routinely but chugs some of this nasty stuff with flares

Back off the red meat and spirit alcohol. Chicken & fish is your new best friend.

Take ibuprofen ...4 every 4 if your liver and stomach can handle it till you get the Colchicine and stay away from sharp objects. Don't want a cut taking that much ibuprofen.

Sleep tonight with your feet out from under the covers cause even the weight of the sheets will hurt.

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor but I play one on TV. And I have gout. I used to keep my putter beside the bed to use as a cane. Grip end goes down. Alipurinol is a life changer.

    Hope this helps.

Add sweet pickle juice to your list. I have done all of your "Colchicines" and they all have their place especially the putter. When it is turned upside down that grip does not slip on the floors.

I love cherries!Always have. The 100% black cherry juice is something I could drink constantly. It’s tart but has a great taste. Big thing is it’s too expensive to drink it the way I would. It really helps my wife.

I got meds from the doctor. Excellent results. I have to avoid tomato juice and be careful not to eat too many fresh tomato or pasta sauces.

Cherry juice/extract didn't work for me at all. Doc gave me indomethicin for flare-ups, but I changed my diet and have not had an attack in nearly 2 years. No beans (green beans are OK), way less carbs, no commercial breads or anything with corn syrup in it, quit drinking beer. It helps I eat a lot of ... fish! The only red meat I eat is venison I harvest myself, except for a good cheeseburger every now and then - as an indulgence.
