I had seen some peel and stick ones. Just did not know how much light intensity there would be. Or how long the adhesive would hold up, Being wet or wind hitting while going down the road.

The higher the lumen number.....the brighter the light

I have used the lightstrip before making a homemade crappie light. The light is fairly bright but it's wrapped around a 1-inch piece of PVC pipe so all of the LEDs are confined in a small area just wasn't sure how it would look spread over 16 foot or so but I'm definitely going to give it a shot that's the only way I'll know. Thanks for everyone's help

I have one 16 ft under the awning on my camper that puts out enough light to see what we are doing without being glarey bright. You don't want it so bright it knock your eyes out while you are fishing.

That was one concern that I had, thinking that the light reflecting off of water versus being in the water would actually make it harder to see. I guess the hardest part about it is just finding a happy medium where it's not too dim not too bright

Here's what I used on the INTERIOR of my boat underneath the gunnels. Work great. Make sure you buy IP68 lights so they are submersible and waterproof. I attached them with 3M double sided super strong putty tape. Been on for 4 month and still sticking strong.

Whatever you use, put some 3m 93 primer on first.
