Thanks for sharing !!!
Hey guys! I just wanted to say how much I love this jig. I just got a new pack yesterday and got a chance to go out on the yak and caught around 30 crappie on it. It worked really well in the past under a float from shore, but If I’m out in the yak it works awesome either vert jigging or with a slow/medium retrieve. I really like the brown/chartreuse, but all have caught fish depending on the occasion. They also work pretty decent for bluegills under a float. Just my 2 sense

Cole ... one of the very first plastics I put on a jighead was the BPS Squirmin Squirt tubes. Blue body with silver metalflake & chartreuse tails ... and that was the best overall color combo that produced fish for me. I later went to using solid body tubes, as the hollow body tubes were too easily torn up.
And if I'm seeing that first picture correctly ... like one of my fishing partners, you don't trim the tag line close to the jighead hook eye (like I do) .... and also, there "appears" to be a knot in the line a couple of inches above the jig and if so, that's something to avoid if possible because that "can" be as bad as a nick in your line & cause the line to break at that point under strain.
Congrats!

Nice work! Many times smaller is better! One of my go too baits is a Bobby Garland Itty bitty slab slayer in chartreuse and black on a Itty bitty 1/48th jig head. It NEVER fails me!!!! Check it out.

Thanks for the feedback. It is a knot, and I accidently tied it and then once I got to the spot I got a bit ahead of myself and just tied on normally ..... as for the tag I only really find it has a difference if there is a lot of weeds or structure (I was fishing in open water near the top column of water so it wasn't a problem).
But yeah I went through about 3 jigs in 3 hours of consistant action due to ripping so I might have to check out some solid tubes.
You wont be disappointed. Let us know how they work out for you.

Cole, congrats on catching some crappie. You asked enough questions since joining, and now it is paying off for you. Keep at it, and enjoy every time out.
