as long as it dont jump in the water and scare the fish i am cool with all the dog breeds .
big or small i love them all . we have a rat terrier at the house ,but she does not travel .
she stays in the yard and the kennel and her only want is to be petted , chase squirrels and play fetch until you get tired of throwing the dog toy and guard the house and yard .
used to have truck dogs back in the day, the best of them all was hands down a great dane , she was for sure about all that and became somewhat legendary in our part of the world . she was deer tracking fool and if you lost one she could find it .
man i loved that dog and man did she love my little girl . around 3 to 4 years old she road her like a pony .
i did have a best friend mutt for a long while as a boy that was half cocker and half weenie dog. he went fishing with me about every time i went back then and he would even boat ride well too .....but his down fall was always ducks . ducks required a chase and a swim for sure .
charlie brown was his name and of all the dogs over the years he got the job down well . he was great bird hunter when we went pheasant hunting , he was a VERY good attack dog and had a police record a mile long for biting anyone he thought might be trouble .
that dog protected me and our family from anything he thought was dangerous .
folks would laugh when i warned them about crossing him until they saw him in action .
he would TOTALLY go bananas freaked out foaming at the mouth ,out of control bad boy on command !
he was the king of i will bite you real BAD and you cant kick or stop me ....
he passed away of old age when i was a teen and we found him at the dog pound when he was a youngster .
man the memories he created , what a great animal .
some guy made a pass at my mom in the grocery store parking lot one day and reached in the window to touch her shoulder ....real bad idea ...charlie went from tail wagging and smiling to had that guy by the hand good, so fast if you blinked your eye you missed it
and he loved to roll in nasty stinky week old fish carcasses on the bank too ....
used to make my mom nuts when she would come to pick us up at the lake or creek ....
oh the stories charlie created ....wonder dog would a been a better name for him for sure .
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales

I found Pita at a roadside park abandoned as a puppy. Took her home and she was the best fishing partner ever!

TIKI divorced my daughter and adopted me. I believe she thought the sun rose and set on me. She’s gone 3 years and I miss her every day.
