I ordered a Helix 9 and Helix 10 4GN Mega SI+ units in preparation for the Mega Live drop. I have a Garmin Livescope and I will be replacing my Lowrance HDS 9 units with the HB units when they arrive. I am looking forward to High Tech Electronics! I should have bought HB a long time ago... they out perform Lowrance by far on image quality.

Have to agree I was Lowrance for years and years hard to beat the Hbirds for image quality.

Latest vid is out on it and its looks much more like the Garmin scope as compared to the Oculus driven videos we were seeing months ago.

Doesn’t even come close to the images I get on my 1222.
Don’t think they will or can without a black box(processor)
Rickie would have to explain that complicated technical stuff.
I think if I were them, I wouldn’t have put anything out until they did

I wish HB would have used a separate box for the brains so the MEGA Live wouldn’t have to share processor duties ...

Looks to be a wider cone angle than garmin, and lowrance. I dont think this first version is going to do well. Give them time. They will probably catch up to the competition, but for now i wouldn't waste my money.
