Most definitely......IMHO
Some of the now "pro" crappie fisherman were wishers before live scope..... No live scope? They break their necks with their tails tucked to get it repaired or replaced.......
Here's what I do with no units atall..... And they're the ole core units......

Cable savers are available to fix this issue but the real issue is it limits the use of the transducer when mounted on the trolling motor shaft as when you are on spot lock the shaft is continuing to turn messing up your LS image. Many of us use a stand alone shaft to hold the transducer. I reworked a wireless trolling motor by removing the motor and head and keeping the remote mechanism so now use a remote to hone in on the brush and fish. Works fabulously.

My experience with HB they won't release a unit until it's definitely better than the competition and the glitches that do get by them they put out updates fairly quickly to improve them.....
Can't wait to see what they have to offer.....
I'm in no rush to replace my ole core units as they get the job done......
Are you running live scope currently?
