    Found some on a brush pile that were hungry. 1/2 dozen all over 13” including one Mohawk.

    blacknosed crappie are the BOMB when they have the light background body color and the jet black stripe .
    a few times I ketch them so dark you can barely see the stripe and or the stripe isn't black its light brown .
    VERY nice brother .....KABOOM is the word

    That puppy was 14 inches long and fought like a two pound bass. Caught several more black crappie off the same brush but you had to hold the jig absolutely still. Gave up after the surf board boats started coming out for a last hurrah.
