That usually is found out by accident in self case...when bobber/jigging & minnow float fishing at the same time, the minnow float goes down & distracts from the jig pole only to realize it when down sitting still....anyways good mess Ketchn' way to figure them out!

the amounts of crappie that i have managed when my rod was laying down and not being touched is hard to imagine .
sometimes in the dead of winter with jigs in the crappie house we set the depth and set the rod on the railing and just wait for it to get thumped .

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
