Had a Few today

Biting pretty good until the wind came up from every direction.
No dyed green minnows.
Just regular ones on 1/4 oz.double minnow rig. Water temp was 55 deg. Up a little from Monday.
12 black crappie
1-bass(I call green carp) 15 1/4”
And two dink bass under 12”.
Legal to keep where I fish. (Slot fish)

Funny story...
Granddaughter stays the night with us almost every Saturday. She is 2nd grader and no bigger that a minute.
Loves... Crappie, sauger, bluegill, bass, or whatever I catch.
About a month ago, I told her that I wasn’t fishing anymore and that I had sold my boat and all my equipment
After pausing for a second, her reply was..’”Papaw, I guess you’ll have to catch them like a bear does””
Kids are great, especially grandkids!!

The book she is holding is what she picked out for getting straight A’s on her report card.
