Just curious to see what y’all’s favorite is I use a Field and Stream Tec-Lite ultralight 5’6” with 4 pound mono but I was looking to go and grab the BnM TCB or the Bass pro shops crappie Maxx mighty lite crappie rod.

The Leland Trout Rod or BnM TCB (same basically) are my favorite hands down for casting jigs. You won't go wrong with these.

My "go to" rod for casting jigs is the ESP PowerLite 6'6" spinning rod. I don't do much "vertical jigging" so I don't have a rod dedicated to that purpose, though I could use my 10' Sam Heaton or my 12' BGJP if needed.

Do you know how similar it is to the Tec Lite?

I do not. I’m unfamiliar with that rod. Lots of people here can recommend the Leland/BnM rod though. Alphahawk (Trout Magnet Man) has a good video review of the TSS or Trout Slayer Series rod.

Also do a search here on cdc for trout slayer and you will find plenty to read. Almost everyone loves this rod.

St.Croix Mojo Bass 7'6" Hair jig rod. Very sensitive and light enough to cast 1/16 jigs.

Easy choice for me. B n' M Sam Heatons Super Sensitive (SHSS7) in 7' length. Been using this particular rod for the last couple of decades now and can easily recommend it. When paired with a President in the 20 size, along with 2# test Fireline, this combination is hard to beat for just about any presentation format.
