Right now it is BnM since I found a nice selection of different BnM rods at Academy Sports this year on close out at $7-$10 each. I will be looking for some new 10' rods on closeout the 1st of the coming year since people "borrowed" my 10' rods from my slip and forgot to return them.

I'm pretty much at the same place. I own around 75 rods due to can't pass up great deals. My best was some BnM Sharpshooter rods for 5 cent apiece. I just have to many to say which is my favorite. I do like a rod with some backbone. I'm currently using a couple of 7ft Okuma Celios rod and they work great. Tomorrow it will be something different.

5 cents per rod I don't think that anyone could turn that down. I like a rod with some backbone, but I do love a limber rod aswell because I feels like it's easier to keep the fish tight, but that backbone makes for a better hookset, and from what I hear the BNM TCB is a pretty good combo, so I am excited to try it out

You are a better bargain hunter than me. Even as a teenager 60 years ago I never found a bargain like that.

what is the point of having such long rods if not for jigging> Do they cast further?
