    Default Cowabunga is the KABOOM

Since it's a custom pour and not commercially available from what i have seen , find a bait manufacturer here you like and have them pour you some .
Thank me later , this aint no joke my friends , more often than not it will out produce other colors and color combinations at a few spots i hit .
We went thru hundreds of them last year and among a small group of us they are considered the go to plastic many times .
i was doing great and ketchn nice quality fish very well recently with a beautiful white pearl on a pink head .
i changed to the Cowabunga for grins and the fish size went thru the roof !
and the length and profile of the 2 baits was almost identical .....

Colors don't matter until the time colors do matter. Or is it colors matter except for the time when color does not matter? I'm confused but that's normal for me.

But changing colors, jig sizes, types of jigs keep me busy doing something until the crappie decided to start biting. My go to colors are the black or red tube jig with the chartreuse tail or Pepop's Blue Truse except on the days they don't work. Then I find another favorite jig to use on those days.

That's my thinking also..... I'll start with what I like but if that don't work I'll be looking for what the fish like.....

Maybe Snake River (Bob from Bobs jigs) could pour something like the Cowabunga colored jig.

How about it Snake River, could you replicate the Cowabunga?

let me just add this about color options , i often hit a spot with a bait tied on that is what i used at the last spot .
sometimes it lights the water on fire sometimes not .
if i am pretty sure fish are down there .....
( i often fish the bank and docks ,with no electronics ) then i experiment with colors and sizes and profiles .
color can make a huge difference ,even down to the jighead color .
this is a fact and like it not and agree or disagree it matters not me .....
because in the end ....i am KETCHN
