Strange markings

I managed an 11 inch white crappie the other day that had a coloration and pattern on it that resembled a black bass .
Show us some of your strange markings on a few of your fish

Saw that on the C.c FB page ... unusual, for sure.

Closest thing to it was a picture I saw of one from Weiss Lake .... front half of Crappie was normal coloration, back half was completely white (like the belly of your fish). Looked like it had been halfway dipped in bleach

But, hey ... who knows what the deal is ?? I mean ya got your regular White & Black Crappie coloration, Hybrid Crappie, Blacknose Black Crappie, Gold Crappie, the gold hue of Bee's Crappie from Maine, so why not a half/half cut either horizontal or vertical.

Check out the top left crappie and its markings...late June catch. Hybrid probably, typical Black and White Crappie on the board with it for comparison.

Here's a reason why we don't get 3# fish in Florida, that's a 13" fish in the pic w/war wound...markings of another kind.....the top one went a couple rounds in the octagon as well

nope , let em all go , unless someone thats with me wants them i am the toss em back guy .
Steve stuck me with fish both times we went ....gave one set away ....filleted the other .
good on fish until around 2021 or so at our house
