Very nice Ketchn. Those Limits Tackle jigs seem to be working good for you my friend. KABOOM!
of around 15 to 20 mph and the water was rising . pretty tough stuff for an older fella to survive in for any length of time no doubt
but this time of year its a MUST , it is you know MASK season after all
spot one GOLDEN skull mask
spot two straight camo mask
spot three no mask at all
also employed 3 different jigs at each spot .
is there a reason for the drastic color changes on the jigs i dropped you might ask . yes and its past describing easily , but to be VERY sure .....
there is somewhat a method to my madness .
was pretty darn miserable conditions to try to ketcha crappie in . one spot was sheltered though and one spot was rather brutal , one was somewhat in between .
fish were tight to the bottom hunkered down and some whacked it well and some not so much .
10 to 12 fow seemed to hold the most fish and a few were out deeper in 14 to 16 ....no fish seemed present shallower than around 10 .
got my line broke by fish twice and only managed so so average crappie .
but the good news is this .....
today is another day and i will likely try a different MASK
in the end as always ...
KABOOM is the word btw

I pitched Limits Tackle , Sk hand ties and I think Southern pro 3 color tubes
hand ties in pink and pink combos were off the chart at one spot .
the Southern pro tri color wasnt bad at another spot
and the Limits tackle worked them over pretty well too at 2 of the spots .

Nice fish and report. Conditions sounded rough!
Getting it done in less than ideal conditions! Who was that masked man?
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I have to admit Ketchn is a more dedicated fisherman than I. I don't like fishing in the rain, and cold rain is a hard no! LOL Good job!
