where would you find crappie in a flooded lake?

First I try and find the cleanest water, then look shallower near there normal hangouts. As the high water opens up new food sources and that would be shallow in as little as 6 inches. If water temperatures are low I would also be on the Northern side where the water should be warmer in dark bottom bays.
