Please don't stop posting! Very informative and as others have said idea creating for our own setups! I don't get a lot of exposure to how others do things with their boats in real life, seeing what you do is awesome!

I'm don't see how it makes a difference in charging the batteries if you use two duel bank or one four bank charger. I think space limitations on your boat would be the deciding factor on choice.

Since I use a pontoon, space doesn't matter that much to me, so I have a three bank charger for the trolling motor, two dual bank chargers for the fish finders and a one bank charger for the starter battery.

Since I am about to move my running floodlights and night fishing lights from the starter battery to a separate dedicated battery for them, I wish I had gone with a dual bank charger when I bought the new charger for the starter battery earlier this year.

Like a dummy I did not think about needing a separate battery for the night fishing lights when I installed them this year and hooked them up with the starter battery. I quickly learnt that was a mistake. Luckily, I have plenty of batteries and a good set of jumper cables on the boat.

This is why I chose to use 2 duals. One supply for the Trolling batteries and the other supply for the start battery and the electronics battery. Besides a quad is too heavy for me to handle by myself.
