    I heard that his doll fly jigs are the reason for the polar bear decline. I remember fishing with them way way way back. They worked wonders on crappie.

    First "jig" I ever used was a Doll Fly .... probably ~60 years ago. Used the white one for White Bass during the spawn run, and for Crappie casting around standing timber.

    I used the Doll Flies until the Twister Tail came on the scene in the 70s.
