I was just getting into pulling crankbaits and got a huge strike on the rod I had about 125 ft of line out on. I grabbed the rod and set the hook really hard causing the rod to bent nearly double. The fish was pulling so hard I resorted to the ole saltwater pump and reel method. When the fish got close to the boat I yelled for my fishing partner to grab the net. Even under the water I could tell it was a huge fish. When my buddy lifted it out of the water he burst out laughing. The fish I had caught was a Drum that weighed about one pound along with a plastic Walmart bag full of water. I still get kidded about my Monster fish.
