ahhh, a very excellent question. My spider rigs need upgrades. I never paid attention to the BF deals for fishing before either. I'm trying to collect 9 new Abu baitcasters, I'm a third of the way there.
since i am giving bass fishing a break after 35yrs, i started crappie fishing, did not catch alot of them yet since my wife and i started around may of this this year, i was thinking about black friday deals, is it worth waiting to see what goes on for deals on black friday.

Black Friday was never my thing as in store shopping isn't my favorite thing to do. Usually to many people. This year, I would not go out in a big crowd to save a few bucks. Already know to many that got real sick and a few that have died. I'll pass on shopping in stores.
But online is a great way to shop. Again, this year is different as the inventory levels and shipping companies will be iffy at best. The manufacturers are having issues with inventory and don't need to offer incentives so it's likely that BF means little to them. They can't keep up with the demand presently. But as backorders from overseas get filled and inventory levels become more manageable . spring will be good shopping for stocking up.
I'd get what I needed for now and wait on spring sales. The spring sales should be much better than BF.
Archery Trade Association, SCI, waiting to hear about SHOT, and loads of distributor shows have cancelled due to Covid. Hunting accessories , cold weather apparel and footwear might be better shopping on BF.
I saw where the Garmin 93SV would be on sale for (I think) $500 at BassPro. Not the UHD model.
Ooops, double tap.
