Good job out there.
I found that it apparently does make a difference just yesterday . In a howling north wind that gusted up to 40 mph the fish wanted me to wear my white mask ......
Just one day earlier in a howling south wind the fish loved my orange mask ....
go figure ......
I have to admit it was difficult to keep my mask on in that high of a wind . So as I hit different locations around the lake ,some of the spots were just past keeping a mask on and almost couldnt EVEN keep my KABOOM ballcap on .....
I visited 5 locations on the lake ,some sheltered some NOT ! I managed fish at every stop and some were in water 6 foot deep and some out in 16 foot of water . Most of the takes were fairly subtle and MAN was it tough to exceed a 50 count yesterday in that kind of wind conditions .
i used 2 different baits , one plastic that i cant share as its a tournament bait for the crappie expo and its a secret until after the tournament and the other was a hot pink handtie .
hit the lake for a total of about 2.5 hours in 2 visits , one early and one at lunch time .
BEST bite was at high noon in a ridiculous howling wind right where the waves were crashing into the dock I was on !
KABOOM is the word yawl
and this ...no matter what you might think ....aint no fooling around

I run across some of that super secret stuff once in a while . This particular item is pretty and did in fact ketch fish well no scent applied . When I test this kind of thing I go no scent added to see if it performs on its own or if it needs a crutch .
I found it quite interesting that every fish had it in the same spot in its mouth on the hook ups . It was like I was putting the hook right in the bone of the roof of the mouth on purpose , I really cant explain why they all ate it the same way as of yet ....
more testing required
