Awesome pics. Yeah I hear SK is going to have a video of the 3 of you guys out soon. Looking forward to seeing that one for sure!!! KABOOM!
Went on a boat ride Friday , worked hard I did with a ten foot rod . Straightened my jig hooks out on 2 different jigs before I gave up on the braid and the 10 footer
Hook sets are my thing and watching big toad crappie get yanked about a foot up on the livescope before they fly away like a rabbit on fire just aint my thing
So I fell back to my trusty 7 footer and mono and the day went much better .....
it is what it is I suppose .....
We did ok ,but not near what we expected . Fish were very finicky and difficult to get to actually commit to a bite . I had a great time out there with the owner of limits tackle none the less and in the end , a big bowl of fillets made it my house to stock the freezer .
Best fish were holding in water close to 20 foot deep .
Best baits seemed to be orange and chart mixes for me and the captain of the boat ride stayed busy using more conventional natural colors .
Thanks for the invite sir and ......
Sorry for the lag time on fish stories , this time of year is so terribly busy for me .
I also love to hunt and it distracts me from ketchn a bit here and there..

Those long rods do take a little bit of getting used to. It looks like you guys still put a bunch in the livewell.
