Pappy, please tell me more about this E76MLS.
How the butt section work?, screw in or just connect like 2 pieces rod? Is is secure enough and how it balance with super light reel? How light is the rod? I’m not worried much about sensitivity but really crucial on the weight. How the bend on this rod, fast tip? I’m searching for nice 7’6 for bobbers rig and jigging 1/16oz head.
I just got myself Majorcraft Crostage 7’3 Mebaru rod 0.5-5 grams. It is super light comparable to Presso rod. It cast 1/32oz head super far and can handle my weighted bobbers with lob cast. It is soft tip and stiff enough blank (no whippy at all) just perfect for crappie, but a little bit too soft for my liking. I’m struggling when jigging 1/16oz head and don’t want to strain the rod with my lighted bobber too much.
Normally I use Mr. crappie lighted bobbers with weight (about 1/4oz) but with this rod I have to use Rod-N-Bobb lighter but doesn’t work well with lighter head.

Buddy, I wish I knew what the weights are on these rods, but for sure they're pretty light in weight (to me, but I'm not used to any of the high end rods like you use). They do have a very fast tip action. The 7'6" rod is two piece. The handle section is one piece. The reel rings are good, but high arched reel foots may require some elec. tape for insurance.
As to using them for slip floats .... uhhh, not so much. They have micro guides/tip that most slip float stops are going to hang up in (speaking from my own experience, except for the string type stops which I have not used, so I can't comment on those).

You can read about the specs here : ESP™ High-Performance Ultra Light Rods – Norsemen Outdoors ... but that's about all I know about them. You might call or email them and see if they can tell you the actual weight of that rod.

No I don’t use slip float type anymore, all mine are fix type float. Micro guide gonna be some cumbersome since I mostly use leader 4lb Nanofil to 4-6lb leader, but I can live with it. I was looking at your link and saw one with short butt, I thought it was the same rod lol.
I don’t use high end gears, as long as it is under 3.7-4 oz I should be fine. My current 7’6 (shimano compare walleye rod) it is heavy (heavier than my bass setup) and uncomfortable to cast (have to use two hands) and accuracy is not good.

Yeah, the 6' PowerLite and the UL rods have the "short butt" handles, and all the others have the extended handles (what I call "poodle tails").
According to the page ad ... "most" ESP rods weigh less than 3oz. And, there are 4 ESP rods longer than the 7'6" model, so it should be close to the 3oz range.
You might not have to, but you could always shorten your leader to where it wouldn't have to be reeled back past the tip eye.

Assuming the rod tip eye is the same size on the 7'6" rod as it is on my 6'6" rod ... my rod tip eye will accommodate at least 3 strands of 20lb test mono (0.467mm diameter each) in a tight fit. I assume they're the same size, as my 6'6" rod & 9' rod visually appear to be the same internal diameter. But, a comparison between my 6'6" & 5'6" rods shows a larger diameter tip eye on the 5'6" rod
