    Default Underground River

There must be an underground river between Ky Lake and Ketchn Land. Crappie are leaving here and going to Texas via this underground river to escape the Asian carp invasion. This I believe. Nothing else makes sense about the crappie disappearing from here.

The Asian carp are really devastating. They're filter feeders and really upset the food chain by taking so many of the plankton that the shad and baitfish need to survive. No doubt they're sucking up huge numbers of gamefish fry in the spring too.

Unfortunately there's not a good solution out there. I don't know what the future looks like for KY and Barkley lakes, or any lake that connects to the Mississippi river watershed.
