Water temp. is dropping and Black Crappie bite is heating up on Jordan Lake, NC. Water temp down into the low 70s. Was in the upper 80s just a few weeks ago. Fish are moving in small groups in 12 to 15 ft. Of water. Gobbling up live minnows, chartreuse and junebug color plastics. Limited out on thick 11 to 12 inchers today. Lots of undersize throwbacks as well.

Very nice!! I will be hitting Jordan or Harris (or both) in the next several days depending on what this low pressure system brings rain-wise.
I think the low pressure will set 'em on fire too. Thanks for sharing.

Great pics. If Jordan is great then the border of Va./ NC should be also.

Yes Indeed. Tis the season. Most of the recreational partiers are gone. Whole different scene in the fall / winter when the water cools off. Good luck out there guys & gals. Wishing you tight lines and full coolers.
Front coming through / rain in the forecast. Go get em. I always have great success on those rainy days on Jordan. Ya get wet but the Crappie get going. Good luck all.
