    Default newer mini triggerspln reels

My old zebco mini triggerspin 30-40 years old are wearing out . Have tried some newer reels but they aren't working out. does anyone know of a brand that works good and lasts without problems. I really like the mini triggerspin reels on my long jigging rods but can't can find any that work good and last.

Zebco has a new mini 33 that looks to be a step-up from the t11. I have a few and they seem to be ok. I like the 2 pick ups. Also I have a couple of daiwa 40xd models that work. Now, I just tightline with mine or use them to "flip" my baits. No casting. More or less line holders.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Daiwa makes goods ones. A smaller 40XD and larger 80XD. I have both.

Daiwa 40 or Pflueger. I suggest finding a reel that has 2 pick-up pins. Have used for many many many years

Lews has a new one out the model is a SUS1C. I just replaced my brand new Diawa XD40’s with the Lews. The Diawas were smooth, but I tried everything to keep the line from kinking up and tried several brands of line and it just wouldn’t work out. The line would kink and not pick up when reeling. The Lews has dual line pickups.
