Jighead vs hook with split shot

The light wire hook and split shot is a deadly trick around here especially when the fish are finicky. They cant resist the slow drop and the added action of the minnow.

I saw this set up somewhere on YouTube and have been using it with some success. In my experience, it’s about 50/50 on whether the fish hit the jig or the minnow.
