    Default Panfishpro.com Jigs

Does anyone know if the hooks used on panfishpro.com jigs are any good, I like that they have multiple hook sizes for each jig weight.

seems quite often the value of certain hooks versus other ones is in the eye of the beholder .

No, I disagree, there are regular hooks and there are good hooks. Seems some stay sharp for a long time, and some dull fast. dono, cause I'm no expert tho. My other thought on the subject is, sickle hooks just don't have big enough barbs for my taste, but they are sharp.

this is so true my friend , but here in lies the problem with what is good or not good , often times I see total junk hooks being talked up like they are good or even great stuff . i wont go into the gory details but to be sure you are right , there are good hooks , regular hooks and even bad hooks .

I think the black sickle hooks are my first choice although I will admit the J hooks on the Limits Tackle wedge heads comes in at the top as well.

Agreed there are quality hooks, and some not so.

I recall that the #8 hooks I bought to tie on were mostly ordered considering price point. I do sharpen sometimes if I feel they are getting dull. I'm looking now at the various bait hooks with features like Tru-Turn and Rotating Hook .
