Dunno. Maybe he helped feed the less fortunate. If only for his personal and/or family consumption, I would agree. Why? I'm fishing a couple times a week these days and my family's tired of eating fish! And I'm not catching nowhere near LA's limits of 50/person.

    Fishing isn't work, it's recreation.

I didn't mean there was anything wrong with it, just that he would be in church in the mornings and back for evening services.

The over 12 inch rule slowed the charge for me but until I retired twice a month was about par . I keep way more red ear than crappie . About 75 crappie in the freezer and a few to eat along the way . No use letting females spend the winter in the deep freeze .

My question is did he actually keep his limit or just caught his limit. Either way one heck of a feat.

I don't know if he kept them. That would be a lot of fish to clean! Just getting on the lake every day for a year would take a lot of dedication.

Yes....I’m about 11 years younger than Dude but he’s got the stamina to stay at it day after day....much more than me. He can sure lay it on the crappie.

    Regards
