You ask for opinions on three rods.

Everybody tells you to buy the same rod.

You now want to buy a rod that wasn't on your original list.

Every outdoor forum everywhere has that. Choosing gear to buy without the ability to go handle it in person can do that to you.

Opinions on rods are like opinion on cars. Depends on what your interpretation is of "light" and "casting ability". That only comes from trying out rods and seeing what best fits your liking. And yes, it does come down to what you like, not from what you read or hear about. That being said, this season I'm trying out a new rod - the Diawa Presso 7.5' UL. So far I am very pleased and it comes in a close second to my all time favorite, the Sam Heaton Super Sensitive in 7' length.

Do some research. Check out videos on YouTube. Quantify what you need and are looking for and then just buy one and try it. You can always sell it on eBay!
