Default Santee Cooper - Lake Marion

Heading to Santee (Lake Marion) this coming weekend, 1st time in over 15 years. How's everything biting? Any advice or secret locations? I won't tell anyone, promise. Staying near Jack's Creek.

    Keep Rippin' em!

Jack's Creek is one of the best areas on the lake. I'd drop a minnow or jig by every stick you can for crappie. Bluegill using worms is usually good around the back side of Persanti island. Big catfish hang out around NE back side of Persanti using bluegill for bait.

It's been about that long or maybe even 12 or 13 years since I made my last trip to Santee.
I have been itchin' a bit more the last six months or so about takin' my boat and hittin' it again.
