I confirmed today I would need to buy a new Solix unit to use the mega 360. I bought my current solix unit in the last year and at this point can not talk myself into buying a new $2500 display unit just to use the mega 360.

I tried perspective view on my Livescope this morning. It works great but wish it would show the entire water column at 25 feet. I seldom fish anything 12 feet or less.

Sell one. You can post here for sale and bbc. All you need to do is register and check out electronics forum. Just make sure if you do sell one,,that you can replace it as right now,,supply is becoming limited. You know this is going to eat at you cause it did me when none of my electronics was adaptable to the mega 360. I caved in and paid the piper.

The Solix 15 is less than a year old. I love the screen size but not the price. My other display is a 12" garmin I use for LiveScope. Not about to give that up. So I guess I will do without the mega 360 until such time as I can convince myself to reward Humminbird's greed and buy a HB 12" Solix with the mega 360.

Come on now, it's a pontoon. Besides, the only cables are the trolling motor cables which I can't have anywhere else, the new battery cables which I haven't placed in the guide yet, the battery charger cables for the front battery and the puck for spot lock. They only bother you when you set in the right front fishing seat as they run along the side of the pontoon. They don't bother me in my left side fishing seat.

I plan on installing the ones I can in the guide on the top of the pontoon someday when I don't have anything better to do. Or you could do it for me since I am a tired old man.

I've already replaced the fuel line kit. Didn't solve the problem but one full pump up will get you to the bridge and one will get you back. I know, I tested it today. Now I'm researching the low-pressure pump to see if it can be cleaned while running or if I am going to have to pull the pontoon from the water and replace it.

The cookout will be different from here on out, no air-conditioned boat to cook or rest in. I sold the 44' houseboat Saturday. But I moved the large refrigerator and table to the deck so we can still do the cookouts. Also sold the 28 ' cabin cruiser. So now I'm down to the pontoon and one boat slip. I'm regreting selling the houseboat already after two days of this heat.
