    Default Wedge head and more

Steve from Limits Tackle just sent me some wedge head Gray Ghosts. Cannot wait to try them.

Here is my message back to him:

Jigs just in. Look terrific and you are right, very tough plastic. Should work exceptionally well in our clear water. The Gray Ghost is exceptional. I realize it is simple but the profile, color, and craftsmanship will hold them in good graces with our crappie. Be sure to let me know when you are pouring the minnows with eyes. I believe they will do very well in our lake, as well. I am very happy with your talent! Blessings to all, Dennis.

I got half in 1/16th and half in 1/8th. Number 6 hook, I believe. I like the small silhouette this time of year.

Just see if you can borrow some of ketchn's nail polish and paint some "eyes" on it!

Gray Ghost pattern like that is one of my favorites and a real good fish catcher.....hold on tight! ...lol

I almost dropped a wedge head yesterday myself . The amounts of bait that size and color where we were was just unimaginable . But I opted for a large profile fork tail because ......git ready fur it .....
THE LIVESCOPE said the pile was flat full of HUGE slabs and I thunk ,,,,,
I bet them big boys want a mouthful
The good news , I was in fact wearing my Crappie.com t shirt for the photo opportunities that came up from that pile !
