Default Good battery for trolling motor

I`d like to buy myself a good battery but maybe not break the bank to push my 14 ' Lowe jon boat along.

My objective is to be able to troll 3 to 4 hours using my Minn Kota trolling motor (35 lb thrust)

    What battery would you suggest?

    Thanks!

I concur ... and I'd get a series 29 if you intend to constantly run for those 3-4hrs. But I'd definitely get a series 29 if the trolling motor is your only source of power to move your boat.

I have a group 27 deep cycle on my 9 ft pond prowler with a 45lb thrust Minn Kota. Crappie fishing no issues. I can bass fish all day no problem. I don't usually go at full throttle except for an initial run to where I want to start fishing
