we have a lake by my house thats timber ridden and they draw it down sometimes as much as 9 feet .
the have pump stations that pump it back up in the fall and spring from east texas lakes
when it goes down it kills lots of boats and got mine real good one time as well .
it can drop over a foot a week and what was ok last visit is not next visit .
when it does go down good the tops of the old larger trees look like they been chopped on with an axe
hence the name boat killer

its a wonder it didnt tear off the transom or then again lets see a down image of just past that stump
we used to see lots of boats tied up on timber at fork when it opened up back when
they were all minus the transom with just the bow sticking up
