looking for a rod

I have spent lots of money on fancy name brand rods, their great but I catch just as many fish on my micro-lite rods I bought at Wal-mart usually in the shakespear brand or similar, most all of them will do the job.

I hear you Lonnie. but i have looked hogh and low... cannot find a shakespear MGSP702UL or a bass pro model anywhere

some folks use reel magic , not sure if it helps but i have seen it used ...

You might want to fill it a little less than to the rim,because the line is going to want to spill off the spool and tangle up.
