Livescope Battery Question - Advice Needed

Ran mine to my cranking battery..
Bought a Cranking/Trolling Battery..
31 Series..Battery..Expensive..

I charge it every time..100% can fish two days..8 hrs or more..No problem..

I would buy a better cranking battery and connect both GLS and screens. Nice to have it charge while you motor to next spot. I keep a $60 jump starter (NOCO) and jumper cables in case I drain it. Never had needed either.

Same--I have a Sam's Duracell G31 AGM for crank and electronics plus a jump starter and a pair of jumper cables. Running 3 fishfinders (1 Garmin, 2 HB), Livescope, 360, and HB switch, I haven't fished long enough in 1 spot this year to know if this is going to be a problem.

Mine has Amped 48AH for black box and 1222. Can run 6-7 hours and still have 14V left. Weighs about 5 lbs. Pricey but worth every penny!

I almost switched all my batteries to lithium last time and may next time but the payback just didn't work for me. Maybe next time?

@Keefer just buy a 100AH off Amazon & run it direct with your Graph up front and call it a day. Lithium batteries are dirt cheap compared to what they were 5 years ago. Heck you can get 4 Brand New 10AH Lithium Batteries on Amazon for $800 bucks now. Don't waste your time with 50AH-Less. Just get a 100AH and call it a day.

Yes volts are what graphs need to operate properly. Below about 11 volts, your graph will start acting up and picture will become fuzzy. Amps is what your unit draws, usually expressed in amps per hour. If space and weight is not an issue, you can stay with lead acid batteries.

I have a 68ah AGM for my 93sv/Livescope system. Livescope runs around 5amps/hr so I'm figuring I should get a good 10-12hr day from the battery before needing a charge. Am I right in my estimate ??

I have a 60 AH tracker lithium battery and I run a 12" helix 106 Garmin with a lvs32 LiveScope and can easily get 12 hours out of it. Unless I fish 12 hours I don't charge it more than ever other trip I've ran it over a year with 0 issues.
