    Default Trolling motor

Ok guys I'm having a senior moment. For a boat such as an aluminum Tracker Modified-v, what is the shaft length on the tm?

I have a tracker 175 which is a v hull (not a deep V but still a v hull). Stock was a 42 inch and I upgraded to 54 inch when I added spotlock. The 54 inch is plenty and nice to be able to see the head from the helm.

    48 should work on a Mod-V.

I upgraded my 190 TX from a 42 inch 12V to a 54 inch 24V. Not only was the 12V under powered the 42 inch shaft cavitated in even light winds

The extra length makes them a lot easier to handle, on a v.
