Black and White Hogs !

the 4 legged kind , the black and white crappie were just the same old thing
hammered a big hog early ,then about hammered a doe , then hammered some crappie and gone I was from our place in the country by 11 30 am
down the road I went to eat said hog for lunch ,home by 1 pm ,had the hog dropped at the door for me while I wet a jig .
The crappie are so thick under the dock I stopped at you can about walk on water there and that aint no joke ....
Never seen so many baby shad anywhere in all my days as that spot has .
obviously small jigs were the key and that same pink and chart hurt them well .
crappie were released to eat mo shad and lunch was ....
poblano, pork and potatoes over white rice in a green sauce
the wildlife on video at our place is just about mesmerizing if you like hunt .

I love the sound of a 30 06 about as much the squeal of my Shimano on a hook set btw

you see them boys in the news in the last few days ? that spot they killed that big ole wild hog with knives and dogs is the lake i visited by our country place . of course they are 40 years younger than me and got a pack of pit bulls , but i am here to tell ya not all the folks here in Texas use a rifle

was pretty tasty no doubt , i called the wife and told her my bud would drop off the pig on the porch and she could just put it inside the door and i would take care of it when i got home .
next phone call was what part can i cut up for lunch and said take your pick sweety it aint like we are low on pork

our spotted ones run about 1 to a dozen , reds run about 2 to a dozen , blacks rule the roost
btw i tried 3 different jigs ....both the little bitty ones did best ....when i upsized a bit it hurt the bite ALOT
pink chart 1/64 pink blue 1/64 and purple white 1/32
