Not one to give up quickly. There are a ton of fish in the lake and minimal pressure so confident I’ll figure it out. Always have the brush piles to hit if trolling doesn’t pan out

Hey guys update on progress. Bought 4 x BnM trolling rods (12'), 4 x Shakespeare ATS 15's. Spooled up with 15 pound big game (had some on the shelf) and used some P-Line Flouro clear for the leaders (8 lb for jigs, 10 lb for crankbaits). On the boat, mounted some Spyder Lock version 2's (these are great!). Used 1/8 oz jig heads (pink) with some Bobby Garland baits. On the crankbaits, tried some Bandit 200 and 300's, some Bomber 5A's, some Norman crappie crankbaits, and a Bomber Fat Free shad. Saturday late afternoon, got out for a couple of hours and had 8 fish that kept and about 15 that were short. Sunday AM spent about four hours and had 13 that kept and about 20 shorts. Nothing giant. This evening took my daughter out and cast to some brush piles. Then spent 30 minutes on a trolling pass and she took a 12.5" fish! Lots to learn, but definitely appreciate all of the support and tips. Only bad part was that I snapped a rod when I snagged a crankbait - forgot to set the drag, rod pitched forward, I grapped it to keep from going in and before I could get out of the holder it want snap. Definitely operator error and NOT a rod issue - was super impressed with the B&M's and the ability to see strikes. Here are a few pictures from the trips.
