    Default Slow and deep

A family that's fished with me for several years was onboard yesterday. The goal with them is to put as many fish in the box as possible. They pretty much take care of themselves so I get to fish hard with them. I dropped anchor in 86' of water to fish a bench 58' deep. The fish were in the 22 -31' range. Tube jigs tipped with nibbles fished vertical super slow worked the best. These guys all had different color combinations and all seemed to work throughout the day. I did the best with cotton candy. I really like the 6' ultra lite ESP rod on these deep fish. Got blown off at 1:30 and came in with 84.

86fow? WOW.....I don't even think I've ever been in a lake with that depth..... Contours are a major player..... These fish adapt to all kinds of conditions.... Nice catches........
