    Default jerkbaits?

anybody use small suspending jerkbaits on crappie?

since i was about 12 years old and started watching bill dance, i've been strictly bass fishing. i've been bit by the bfs bug, and have been crappie fishing pretty hard for the past 2 months using a bps carbonlite 7' ml casting rod and daiwa tatula sv with a shallow spool. i'm pitching 1/8-1/4oz weedless heads with a baby shad the same way i do with a bass jig or texas rigged plastic and just fishing it a bit different. i'm wondering how many more techniques i can incorporate using smaller baits.

I’m sure they’d work, but jigs work great and are much cheaper.

1/16 ,1/32 small hooks and light line 4 to 6 lb mono
sure you can pitch big heavy baits and catch some
but you can go real light and catch bunches
crappie are typically miles away from bass in the how to dept.

depending on how deep your local waters run sometimes a tiny float is deadly as well above a small jig
