    Congrats on the PB's , nice catch. I know you are proud.

    But are you really happy with those mounts ? The ragged tails , and the questionable paint jobs ?

    Just being honest here , I would not be happy.

    I have to agree on the split tail parts. But if the older gentleman was having issues then that explains alot. God bless him!

    Another taxidermist could easily fix the tails, not a big deal.

    I like the way its a 2 fish display, looks very cool!

    If I didn't like it wouldn't have posted it, the fish looks the way they did when they was caught. Caught both during spawn so the fins was beat up. I could have it fixed to look like a fake fish but that's not what I want.

    The little place in the lips where I set the hook, beat up fins from doing its thing, the place outta the white crappies dorsal fin from who knows what is all character to me.

    That's a good explanation and reason for the tails! Looks very cool!
