Default Oregon crappie like Trout Magnets also

Earlier in the week crappie were thumping 1 1/2" Lit'l Hustlers really good. Yesterday they would just bump the jig and not take it. I downsized to the Trout Magnets and that did the trick. Also real happy with the 2lb SOS mono.

A very nice mess of fish! The TM comes thru again. What color(s) seemed to work best?

Nice catch. TM catches about anything that swims.

You won’t regret it. A very versatile lure.

I like their jigheads. I haven’t done much with their bodies and I’ve tried a bunch of colors. They just don’t produce on my home lakes here in Pennsylvania. Shad bodies produce best here.

That’s interesting. I was happy to see that the TMs produced on the Oregon lakes. There must be huge populations of shad that cause them to ignore everything else. If you stream fish often, do you notice the same thing? Just curious and I know very little of western PA.
    thx
